Juan H01W paths and a separate H10 check group

Two seabed definitions, compared path by path

The embedded explorer preserves the labels stored in the original analysis artifact. Read the translation below before interpreting its controls or plots.

“Fixed” or “old”

Historical fixed seabed

The retained uniform engineering seabed definition. “Old” identifies the earlier comparator; it does not mean invalid.

“Source-aware” or “new”

Geology-informed seabed

A path-specific sediment-layer definition. “Source-aware” is an internal resolver-profile name; it does not refer to the ship source-level model. “New” does not mean universally better.

“Validation group”

Separate bounded H10 check paths

These four paths test the comparison outside the 678-path Juan cohort. The label does not mean that the propagation model is scientifically validated.

Interpretation limit: the explorer shows how the seabed definition changes direct RAM transmission loss for declared paths at 63 Hz. It does not determine which definition is universally correct, and it does not use waveform evidence to attribute measured sound to a ship.
